OLIVER FRLJIĆ

Oliver Frljić (1976., HR) – Diplomirao je 2002. filozofiju i religijsku kulturu na Filozofskom fakultetu družbe Isusove u Zagrebu, te kazališnu režiju i radiofoniju na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti. Za predstavu „Blizanke” DK Dubrava dobio je tri nagrade za najbolju režiju (Hrvatski centar ASSITEJ, Naj, naj, naj festival, Dječiji pozorišni festival Pozorište Zvezdarište). Za predstavu „Turbo-folk” HNK Ivana pl. Zajca dobio je nagradu za najbolju režiju na međunarodnom festivalu komornog teatra Zlatni lav, a predstava je dobila i festivalski Grand Prix. 2009. trijumfira na Festivalu malih scena u Rijeci gdje su dvije njegove predstave podijelile nagradu za najbolju predstavu: “Turbo-folk” i “Bakhe”. Također, dobiva i nagradu Anđelko Štimac za najbolju režiju. Te godine počinje njegov pohod na međunarodnu scenu kao najistaknutiji hrvatski kazališni redatelj mlađe generacije. Predstava „Turbo Folk“ selektirana je 2010. na najprestižniji europski kazališni festival Wiener Festwochen. 2011. u Teatru ITD režira predstavu „Mrzim istinu!“ po vlastitom predlošku u kojoj koristi vlastitu obiteljsku povijest i postavlja je u kazališni kontekst.

Oliver Frljic (1976, CRO) – Graduated in philosophy and religious culture at Faculty of Philosophy of the Society of Jesus, and theater directing and radiophony at the Academy of Dramatic Arts. For his show “The Twins” for DK Dubrava he won three awards for best direction (Hrvatski centar ASSITEJ, Naj, naj, naj festival, Dječiji pozorišni festival Pozorište Zvezdarište). For his show „Turbo-folk” for HNK Ivana pl. Zajca he won the award for best directing at the Zlatni lav International Festival for Chamber Theater. In 2009 at the Small Scene Festival in Rijeka two of his plays, “Turbo-folk” and “Bakhe”, split the Best Play Award. He won the Anđelko Štimac Best Directing Award the same year. This was also the year he entered the international scene as the most prominent Croatian theater director of the younger generation. „Turbo Folk“ was selected in 2010 for the most prestigious European theater festival Wiener Festwochen. In 2011, he directed “I Hate the Truth” for &TD Theater using his own family history as template and setting it in a theatrical context.
